Te Taumata would like to mihi all our Te Tai Tokerau and Whakatu members who are battling this storm and its ongoing warpath. We know hundreds are still without power, safe homes and will now struggle to rebuild their livelihoods after being hit with flooding of this scale.

We stand in solidarity with you for today, tomorrow and however long it will take to get roads open, slips cleared, and damage remedied –  He waka eke noa, we are all in this together.
