NZTE recruiting for Māori Solutions Lead

Te Taurapa Tūhono (NZTE) is looking for the right person to help grow Māori businesses internationally.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing a programme of work to tailor and create capability building solutions that are fit-for-purpose for Māori businesses.

These solutions focus on building Māori business international export knowledge, confidence and capability, guiding them in their journey and leveraging their expertise in a global marketplace.

This role combines Māori cultural and commercial know-how to influence and make a difference to Māori business international growth, growth of the Māori economy and the Aotearoa economy.

What you’ll need to be successful:  Ō Pūkenga  

You will be known for your relationship building and communication skills – someone able to tell a powerful, persuasive and inspiring story that captures the audience. You will enjoy autonomy, be self-directed and motivated to get the mahi done despite tight and competing deadlines. You will also bring:

  • Demonstrable skills in te reo and tikanga Māori
  • Māori economy acumen
  • Matauranga Māori expertise

This role can be based at any of NZTE’s office locations
